THE BASIC'S OF PASSIVE DECEPTION

The basic concept to passive deception is based upon the psycohlogical control of an individual or situation by an individual or group through non aggressive actions with alterior motives to control, take over, cause change in a situation or concept or eliminate the source of aggression. Some may relate this to simple manipulation of an individual or situation in-order to control the over all outcome, however due to manipulating the mind set of an individual, one may need to use an aggressive approach as posed to a passive one, thereby manipulation is not considered passive deception due to its ability to take an aggressive attitude. Here we will look at twelve basic aspects of passive deception and the psychology with-in each of them as pertains to gaining an advantage against an attacker.
1. SPEECH, we all understand the power of words as pertains to the concept of verbal control and/or command, however in some events these power words simply do not work when an individual has a made up mind and that's when we look at passive deception as a tool to gain position. By simply agreeing with an aggressive individual causes them to feel more confident in their mind, thereby giving them a false sense of control over an individual or circumstance. By allowing the aggressor to feel in control relieves his/her mind of crossing that bridge, thereby allowing the aggressor to become over confident and this psychological mind set by an aggressor opens them up to being passively decieved through passive deception. Once an aggressor crosses the bridge from exposure to control, their mind follows basic aggressive steps in completing its objective, the primary aim of passive speech deception is to convince the aggressor he/she is in control in-order to draw them in to an acceptable range to explode a dynamic technique with intent to cause sever damage to the aggressor. By allowing the aggressor to become overly confident may psychologically suggest that the aggressor could lay hands on you or get close enough to intimidate you terroristically, thereby creating a window of opportunity.
2. NON - AGRESSIVE MOVEMENTS, when confronted by an aggressor, we realize that he/she first has to cross the bridge from exposure to control and while the aggressor is crossing the bridge is the most volital time between the aggressor and the passive deceptionest. By using non-aggressive movements along with passive speech deception, we can eaisly posture ourselves into a guard or defensive position without intimidating the aggressor, thereby drawing the aggressor in. By limiting our body language again gives the aggressor a false sense of confidence over the passive deceptionest, therefore creating a window of opportunity to explode a dynamic
technique with the intent to cause sever damage to the aggressor.
3. COMPLIANCE, we know that nobody is ten foot tall and bullet proof, therefore compliance is "not" the same as submitting, compliance is a tool to be utilized for seeking a position and finding a path to explode a dynamic technique with the intent to cause the aggressor sever damage. Therefore when we look at compliance we look at basic positions that an average aggressor would want their victim to take and we begin perfecting basic techniques from these positions, thereby making compliance a tool to be utilized in various circumstances that an aggressor would comfortabally work from. By utilizing passive speech deception and non-aggressive movements while assuming a given position allows the passive deceptionest to become combat ready due to an aggressors verbal command and becoming over confident.
4. CONFUSION, by the passive deceptionest acting confused causing an aggressor to re-issue verbal commands, causes the aggressor to become irritated, thereby causing his/her mind to continually re-process the information concerning the same command. This psychological aspectof re-issuing the same command, keeps the aggressors main intention in momentary check, thereby creating a small window of opportunity. Simply by re-issuing commands keeps the aggressor talking and hopefuly causes the aggressor to move into a combat zone or to the point the aggressor lays hands on the passive deceptionest, thereby allowing for an explosive and
dynamic technique.
5. PASSIVE COMMOTION, this aspect is based on the passive deceptionest using various items as tools of distraction, this could be anything from spilling a drink to droping a purse to passing a pencil, the focus is not on the passive deceptionest "but" the item at the time, thereby due to the commotion or transaction it creates a window of opportunity. The pyschological concept is that when an event happens such as the spilling of a drink, regardless of the situation everyone takes notice, its at this fragment in time that the window of opportunity is open, due to the fact that the human brain has no choice but to process the information that took place. The passive deceptionest knows this, therefore by creating a simple distraction causes the aggressors mind to process un-needed information, taking their mind off their intention momentarily creating the window of opportunity for the passive deceptionest.
6. THIRD PARTY CONFUSION & COMMOTION, when a third party or more are available during a confrontation by an aggressor, the passive deceptionest will use a simple method of confusion. By asking any individual "if" the aggressor is talking to them or by simply saying, hes talking to you, brings confusion to the conversation. The aggressor has to pass over the bridge from exposure to control and by using any third party causes the brain to process and correct the error, this causes a window of opportunity due to the brain processing the confused information. Due to an aggressor becoming overly confrontational with-in a group, the passive deceptionest may
spill a drink across a table in-order to cause an deliberate commotion, thereby causing a greater distraction and a greater window of opportunity as well as shifting the blame towards the attacker allowing meir numbers to cause even a greater window of opportunity. This aspect also allows for a window of escape and evade by the passive deceptionest "if" conditions allow, this basic technique is nothing new, however it is still effective.
7. GROUP INTERVENTION, when in a large group and confronted with an aggressor, group intervention is a common tool to be utilized by a passive deceptionest, due to the simple fact that there is power in numbers. By reacting to an aggressor in the form of telling anyone standing or sitting around that he/she is starting trouble will cause a reaction with-in the crowd, thereby opening a window of opportunity to either posture or allow the crowd to deter the aggressor or allow for escape and evade. The basic concept when in a crowd or large group is to cause as much confusion and commotion as possible in an effort to create the largest window of opportunity.
8. FREEZING AT VERBAL COMMANDS, when confronted with a weapon such as gun for example, the passive deceptionest may freeze at the aggressors verbal comand in an effort to show fear, this allows the aggressor to confidently cross over the bridge from exposure to control. By freezing at almost every verbal command will seal the psychological aspect with the aggressor concerning the passive deceptionest fear, this will cause the aggressor to get closer and open a window of opportunity. We all should understand that when confronted with a gun martial arts isn't going to be effective until an aggressor is with-in range, not even the late great Sigung Bruce Lee
could defet a gun until it was in range. Therefore freezing becomes a tactic and tool to be utilized for gaining position in-order to combat the situation, further we all know,regardless of how good any of us may be, gun techniques when confronted with an aggressor who means to eliminate you is more than dangerous, due to the fact that most gun shootings are not with-in range for most techniques.
9. STUMBLING AT VERBAL COMMANDS, when confronted by an aggressor with a weapon such as a gun for example, stumbling at verbal commands is a tactic used by passive deceptionest to ensure the aggressor knows they have crossed over the bridge from exposure to control. This tactic ensures the aggressor that he/she has successfully instilled fear with-in the passive deceponest, thereby giving the aggressor the confidence to manhandle or control the passive decetiponest as well as the situation giving them a false sense of confidence. Stumbling does not only allow the psychological aspect to happen "but" creates an opportunity to aquire weaponary
such as dirt or gravel or anything the passive deceptionest can obtain, the primary object is to draw the aggressor in to an effective combat range. We all know there are countless rolling techniques to either attack or escape "but" when confronted with a gun, we should know better than to give our back to the aggressor while trying to runaway, therefore the aggressor made our decision for us, it becomes a "need" to draw the aggressor in to combat range. Therefore the passive deceptionest uses stumbling as a tool to allow the aggressor to get close in-order to explode a dynamic technique with intent to do as much damage as possible.
10. DEFUSING & AGREEMENT, when confronted with an aggressor the simplest thing for the passive deceponest to do is to defuse the situation as quickly as possible and usually that means agreeing with the aggressor. There are two trains of thought concerning this aspect of passive deception, the first is to simply agree and shrug it off due to the fact that words don't hurt you, then there is the second train of thought which is to agree in-order to get close, or agree and take a walk. The concept is to defuse the aggressor and develop a window of opportunity either right then or at the passive deceptionest convenience.
11. PASSIVE EVASION, when you know an aggressor is at the same place you are, simply avoid him/her or leave and "if" you know he/she frequents a certain place simply don't go there, however there is another train of thought concerning this aspect. The first train of thought is what some hear at home and in some cases even in the dojo in an effort to keep us out of trouble and safe. However the other train of thought allows for the passive deceptionest to use tactics to pick and chose when and where they want to accidently bumb into the aggressor, when it comes down to it the passive deceptionest primarily seeks or develops windows of opportunity.
12. COMMITMENT, when confronted by an aggressor the passive deceptionest will use any of the tactics they know in-order to draw the aggressor into effective combat range, while seeking or developing a path to committ to, in-order to explode a dynamic technique with intent to do as much damage as possible. The basic concept in aquiring a path is to lure the aggressor in giving him/her all the confidence they need to make the path available.
Now when we look at the aspect of an aggressor being drawn in even to laying his/her hand and/or hands on you, how much better can you react, either you react as they come forward into your combat space or when they lay hands upon you, the choice may have been theirs "but" in reality when you use passive deception the real choice is yours. By understanding the basic concept to passive deception, you should understand the psychology of the aggressors mind and by utilizing basic non-aggressive tactics how confidance becomes confused. There has been great stratigoust in the past concerning combat and there are great strategest today"but" regardless of who taught what or who done that first all strategy was first based off of the four basic elements, earth, wind, fire and water, passive deception is also found in these elements, nothing new simply concepts and strategies remembered. Furthermore when it comes to passive deception and developing the art or theatrics a man must practice hard and often to become convincing, that is why a woman can master the art much faster and easier than a man, because men always underestimate the woman therefore through their arrogance and over confidence the woman nine times out of ten wins, "if" you don't think so ask your wife, lol.
