R.K. KRISHNA
Yamaguchi Karate International
6th Dan Goju-Ryukarate Do
Mr. R.K. Krishna started his schooling from Gurukul Ashram (An Ancient Indian
way of schooling). There he learned YOGA and became proficient in it "YOGA" which
forms the roots of Karate, got rooted in him at the earlier age itself. His
father was a wrestler, so he started his child R.K. Krishna along with him
to the gym sowing the seeds of exercise
and Martial arts in him. During his schooling, it was the height when he
was the only selected candidate in the entire gurukul Ashram to demonstrate
the YOGA exercises before the then President of India Late Mr. Fakhruddin
Ali Ahmed.
Later during his college days he was attracted to body building and for three
continuous years got the title of Mr. Vivek vardhini (College). Later he also
won the Mr. Osmania University title and was called Iron man in the sports
sphere.
While doing his body building he also jumped and joined Karate in the year
of 1977. He started karate under the guidance of Sensei A.P. Pachiappan, Sensei
Rajaiah, and Master Mirza Hussain Ali who were the student of Reinshi Late
Mr. R.V.T. Mani & took his black belt in the year of 1987.
Reinshi Mr. R.V.T. Mani was the first Indian sports official Coach who was
chiefly responsible for the spread of Karate in India. When he saw R.K. Krishna's
Performance he was so impressed that he immediately took him under his own
training and called him to Madras for further special intensive training.
 In
his pursuit for excellence Mr. R.K. Krishna once saw the demonstration
and skills of the world Grand Master (Yamaguchi). Much impressed and
amused by his skills, Mr. R.K. Krishan named his own organisation
as Yamaguchi Karate International, and started giving coaching to a
lot of Karate enthusiasts and today Yama Guchi Karate International
Has 32 branches spread in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra
with around 5600 students. He refrained himself from commercializing
Karate. He is totally dedicated himself to the art apart from coaching.
Learning the art, he does nothing. He has devoted his full time for
the art. He got his 4th Dan from Mr. Reinshi Late Dr. R.V.T. Mani at
Madras in Goju-ryu style and got 6th Dan from Grand Master Mr. An Kun
Ana Singapor in 1999. Today also he is a source of inspiration to thousands
of students and many masters in the world of Martial Arts. In recognisation
of Yama Guchi Karate International standards and services, Andhra Pradesh
Olympic Association gave recognisation to Yama Guchi Karate International
for all purposes.
Mr. R.K. Krishna gave coaching to Police recruits and defense people. Recognising
his talent, dedication for 25 long years he has been awarded with a lot many
NATIONAL LEVEL AWARDS, Like Krida Kirity, Rajiv Ratna (twice) Vishista Vyakti
and many more.
