There are lots of people carrying concealed guns legally in Texas.

For many of them it just creates a false sense of security. They shoot at static targets at the gun range and that is about it.

They leave it in car.. they carry it without a round in chamber...

Most of them think they are going to be in a life or death situation with someone who announces they want to kill them at 15 feet away.

They are not ready for what is more common, a very close range fight when they need martial arts just to be able to get their gun out and be able to use it on someone that is in punching or wrestling range.

They also in general have no clue as to using cover.

 

Anyway the gun people have the instant mentality. I have a gun, I am master the of situation. Martial artists have a better attitute, they know they need to train and train and train again.
