I totally agree with the article.

I just took a knife fighting class (knifefighting.com) at my dojo and came to the realisation that most of the time the skills I acquire wouldn't really prepare me for a real life situation.
BTW, I recommend attending knifefighting.com classes. They teach all over the states. Check it out...

I just witnessed two people about to fight as I was walking to my building.  It's about 9:30 PM here and the one guy was pushing the other guy with that explosive chest thump to the point the guy fell on the car .... I don't think that guy has the proper mind frame to resist the aggression of the other guy.
