| Midwest Open Taekwondo Championship - Tournament |
I would like to invite you to the 2009 Midwest Open Taekwondo Championship held November 21st & 22nd in Decatur, Illinois. We are always listening to coaches, competitors, parents, and referees trying to improve our event every year.
This year's event includes:
*5 matted rings and electronic scoring
*Low fees to compete
*Larger competitor venue than even before with more room for competition, staging, and warming up
*Well organized and will have a tournament schedule that we will be following
*Fair, trained and experienced judges
*Great competition from all over the country (last year 13 states were represented)
*Full service hotel & restaurant attached
*Beautiful awards
*All kids will receive an award
*Grand Champion awards in all forms & weapons divisions
*Chris Canning Black Belt scholarship and award
For instructors/school owners we have extended our appreciation to you by offering:
-free food & drinks during the event
-no coaches fee
-for every 10 pre-registered competitors you will get 1 free night stay at the tournament hotel.
Please understand this is only for school owners or their head instructors. A black belt that does not bring competitors and does not help does not qualify.
