| The Martial University |
The Martial University is an online learning institution where students and instructors of the martial arts come together to expand their martial knowledge. We want to provide every avenue available to instructors and students to facilitate learning. We believe that online video training allows students to practice what they are being taught by their instructors with more proficiency and online access to training materials, including videos, course manuals and books, enhances dojo training.
The Martial University also pairs up instructors and students allowing training that may not be otherwise available due to location or time constraints. We do not believe that online training is a substitute for training in a martial arts school, and we do not believe in video training alone, without an instructor overseeing the progress of the student.
It is the goal of The Martial University to allow an instructor to provide a secure online curriculum for students that will help both instructor and students to enjoy teaching and training in the martial arts.
Students will be able to upload videos so instructors can follow their progress and for testing purposes.
The Martial University is open to any serious martial arts instructor who wishes to expand his teaching opportunities for his current students and who wishes to provide training for those who may not otherwise have access his particular style or system.

It is the goal of The Martial University to work together with instructors from many different styles helping them provide excellent online training for their students. We provide access to the best training tools available, including online video, online course materials, forums, podcasts, email and more.
At TMU, we believe that online video training allows students to practice what they are being taught by their instructors with more proficiency so they excell in their training. At TMU we also help pair up instructors with students who may not have access to training due to location or time constraints.
Instructors who work with The Martial University have their own TMU web site. These sites can have different levels of training individualized by belt rank or by ability, ie.beginning, intermedite and advanced. Instructors have full contol over who can view the materials in the different levels and the site includes unlimited storage of media including videos, course manuals etc. either for download or for viewing by students only on the web site.
