David Chemoul from Paris, France (www.kapap.fr) is not licensed to teach or certify any KAPAP courses or Instructors under the Kapap Federation or KAPAP Academy. He is advertising falsely in regards to his titles and licenses.
He took a five day basic KAPAP training for people that want to become Kapap practitioners and later on licensed Instructors. Since this is the only course he had attended, he was never qualified to teach or license any other students, as he never passed the qualification standards.
Not only is he not qualified or certified to teach KAPAP, he has certified himself as a “grandmaster”, level five Instructor (we have only four possible levels in KAPAP). Further more he is attempting to use a derivative of our logo and he has put an illegal trademark on it without our knowledge or consent.
We have informed him that he has failed the most important test a martial artist must pass, the test of honesty. David Chemoul has gone on to create a French association of KAPAP, out of which he, as the president of this association, runs Instructor courses (amazing for a guy that had a total of five day training in KAPAP) He claims to be the official representative of this system in France.
We would like to announce officially that this person is an imposter and will be handed a legal suit in French for his fraudulent actions. We have all had enough of people that misrepresent the honesty and integrity that must exist in the martial arts. The honesty and integrity of the KAPAP Federation and KAPAP Academy is what sets us apart and we have worked very hard to build a reputation of solid instruction and honest ranking. We must all make a living as martial arts instructors but we will not tolerate deception for financial gain!
This letter is to clarify that Mr. David Chemoul and his entire association is not recognition by KAPAP Academy, represented by Mr. Avi Nardia and Albert Timen, or by the International Kapap Federation represented by Lt. Colonel Chaim Pee’r.
