Kyokushinkai, (key-yoke/shin) the style found
by Masutatsu
Oyama has enjoyed a growing popularity throughout the world.
Sosai Oyama, a student of Goju-Ryu Master
So Neichu, of Gogen Yamaguchi, and of Funakoshi,
combined what he learned from these masters with his knowledge
of the Korean fighting arts, and with certain Chinese techniques
and strategies.
Sosai Oyama, one of the most famous karate masters
in the world, popularized karate through spectacular tests of strength
such as killing bulls bare handed and winning public challenges
against professional wrestlers.
Kyokushinkai is the name of the style of karate
which was founded by Sosai Mas Oyama.
Kyoku meaning Ultimate.
Shin meaning truth or reality.
Kai meaning to meet, join or associate.
