2006 United States Sport Jujitsu Team Tryouts
January 27 & 28, 2006
Jacksonville, Florida
The International Sport Jujitsu Association (ISJA) was the first to promote a mixed martial arts event internationally using strikes, throws and submissions, on an organized level. Today there are 27 countries following the ISJA rulebook and it continues to grow. The United States Sport Jujitsu Association represents the ISJA as the National Governing Body for sport jujitsu here in the United States. The ISJA holds the World Championships every two years with this year’s event being held in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The coaching staff is looking for the best of the best to represent the USA in this prestigious event. These tryouts are open to any athlete (men & women) regardless of martial arts style or association. To qualify you must be at least 17 years old with a good attitude and open mind. If you would like a chance to represent your country and travel to Argentina as a Team USA member then don’t miss these tryouts.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you there!
Truly,
Ernie Boggs
Head Coach Team USA
