UFC 105 is an interesting card that does not have a championship bout but does have several title contenders fighting against each other. First, Randy Couture versus Brandon Vera with Randy dropping down in weight and Vera trying to prove his prowess in the light heavyweight division. Second, Mike Swick vs Dan Hardy with the winner most likely getting a chance to fight GSP for the Championship. Third, Michael Bisping versus Denis Kang with Bisping trying to regroup from his knockout loss to Dan Henderson, and Kang trying to prove himself in the Middleweight division with a strong test against Bisping. Fourth, James Wilks versus Matt Brown, Wilks, who won The Ultimate Fighter season 9, will be tested in fighting the experienced Matt Brown with both wanting to show their strength in the Welterweight division. Fifth, Ross Pearson versus Aaron Riley, Ross Pearson, who won The Ultimate Fighter season 9, wants to prove he has what it takes to be in the UFC and Riley who has tons of experience and will try to become a top contender at the Lightweight division.
