MARTIAL ARTS HISTORY MUSEUM NEWS
from Museum President Michael Matsuda
MUSEUM EVENTS FALL 2009
The Martial Arts History Museum, which was slated to re-open in April, 2009 in Los Angeles has some very welcome news. The museum, which resided in the city of Santa Clarita for one year and was relocating to the Los Angeles area, is shifting gears to ensure a long-term relationship. "Our plan was to move into a temporary structure this April, but we now have the possibility of securing a permanent location for the museum," says museum president Michael Matsuda. "We are working very hard to get this up and going again. During this time we have embarked on a number of events including the Pacific Asian Museum event and the upcoming huge display at the Las Vegas Super Show, we have been working very hard to relocate," says Matsuda. "This has not been easy and we've gone back and forth with the city and so many councilmembers, well, it has been very trying, but we are continuing to move forward and securing a permanent location will be a tremendous help." Therefore, plans for the April re-opening are on hold for hopefully a few months as things move forward on the final location. Please view www.MAmuseum.com in the near future and stand by for our big grand re-opening weekend event.
