Grand Master Don Jordan has studied a wide variety of martial arts, along with boxing, Greco-roman wrestling and fencing. He was distinguished with a Commander’s Unit Citation while serving in Vietnam, for his martial arts instructional skills.
Grand Master Don Jordan studied Shorin Ryu (6th Dan), Iaido, Hung Gar, Sho Tae Kwon Do, Kobudo weapons, Shin Na Tai Chi, Hapkido and Aikijujitsu. Grand Masterr Jordan’s hybrid style Shorinji-Taegar Kenpo was formally recognized in 1994 by A.T.A.M.A. as a separate martial arts system.
