Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje, Jr., is the grandson and heir of the Great Grand Tuhon Conrado B. Tortal, and is the current Keeper of the Pekiti-Tirsia Kali System.

Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje, Jr. pioneered the teaching of the Martial Art Kali on the east coast/USA and introduced real contact stickfighting across the United States. He was inducted into the Karate Hall of Fame (1988) – a special achievement, because Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje, Jr. is the only Non-Karate Inductee ever. Grand Tuhon Gaje is also an inductee into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame (1987). He is certified by the US Criminal Justice System Training Association and the United States Police Defensive Tactics Training Association.

Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje is internationally known for his work as technical advisor and for personally appearing in the Police Training Video Surviving Edged Weapons, which has been called “the finest law enforcement training video ever made”.
