Shihan Robert Posslenzny is presently a Sergeant with the University of Southern California Department of Public Safety. He holds a 5th degree (Godan) black belt in Shudokan Ryu Taiho Jutsu, and an instructor’s certificate and 4th degree (Yodan) in Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu. He has also trained in White Crane Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Israeli Kapop.

In 2004 Mr. Robert Posslenzny was inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame, for his Outstanding Contributions to the Martial Arts.

Robert Posslenzny was a US Marine Corps Sergeant and served in the infantry and on Embassy Duty in Jerusalem, Hong Kong and Tokyo, Japan. He is a recipient of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) award for heroism and is recognized by the California Robbery Investigators Association.

Robert Posslenzny is currently a firearms, ASP, physical training and self defense instructor. He is trained in dignitary protection and is a Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) instructor. He is a member of ASLET and has instructed and trained with other officers from Southern California.
